Gas Industry Company Limited (Gas Industry Co) has made this website available for gas producers and gas storage owners to disclose outages under the Gas (Facilities Outage Information Disclosure) Rules 2022 (the Rules). Gas Industry Co does not review information prior to publication on the website.
  2. Gas Industry Co:
    1. makes no representation or warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, reliability or continued availability of any information disclosed by gas producers or gas storage owners on the website; and
    2. to the maximum extent permitted by law, disclaims all implied representations and warranties as to the accuracy, completeness, reliability or continued availability of any information disclosed by gas producers or gas storage owners on the website; and
    3. shall have no liability for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the use of, or any inability to use or access, the website or for its continued availability or freedom from defects.

2. Security
  1. Gas Industry Co does not guarantee that the website will be error free, uninterrupted, or free from viruses or other security threats.
  2. You are responsible for:
    1. ensuring that your information technology systems are configured to access the website, including using your own virus protection software;
    2. ensuring that your use of the website does not damage or interfere with the operation of the website;

The following terms and conditions apply specifically to those persons who have a login to the website for the purpose of disclosing outages in accordance with the requirements of the Rules. These terms and conditions apply in addition to the other terms and conditions.

  1. You are bound by the requirements of the Rules. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the Rules and these terms and conditions, the Rules will take precedence. The Rules can be accessed here
  2. You are responsible for:
    1. compliance with your obligations to disclose information under the Rules;
    2. ensuring that you have authority to make the disclosures as required by the Rules;
    3. maintaining records of information you publish on the website; and
    4. keeping your login details secure and confidential and not disclosing them to any other person.
  3. If access to the website is unavailable or interrupted, it is your responsibility to contact Gas Industry Co to discuss an alternative form and manner of disclosure.
  4. Any information published on the website will be considered non­-confidential and non­proprietary. Gas Industry Co and users of the website may use, store, copy and distribute any information published on the website and make such information available to third parties.
  5. You acknowledge that Gas Industry Co may remove your login access to the website if you breach these terms and conditions, or if your organisation on which you make disclosures on behalf of instructs us to remove your access.

You agree to indemnify Gas Industry Co against any costs (including reasonable legal costs), losses, claims, damages or expenses incurred or suffered by Gas Industry Co as a consequence of your failure to comply with these terms and conditions and your access and use of the website.
